Bone structure.

The jawbone as an important component of a well-fitting implant
Our goal is always gentle tooth extraction and the placement of a ceramic implant in the same appointment. This ensures that the existing jawbone, soft tissue, and gums remain stable, as natural function is not interrupted.

When is bone grafting of the jaw necessary?
For example, if inflammation around the tooth is very extensive or if local discomfort has been present for some time, we decide against immediate implantation and fill the hole in the bone after tooth extraction with the patient’s own protein. For this, blood is drawn from the patient immediately before the dental procedure. The blood is centrifuged for 10 minutes, and the white part of the resulting blood clot is separated. This white part of the blood contains platelets, which we need for bone regeneration – the obtained white clot is pressed into membranes. After the extraction, these membranes are used to fill the extraction socket. They release growth factors during the first 10 days, thereby strongly stimulating bone healing. In this way, bone regeneration is achieved minimally invasively and atraumatically using only the patient’s own material, without any foreign material.
