Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
CV and Qualifications.
After successfully completing my medical studies in Hamburg (1984) and my dental studies up to the first state examination (Physikum) and doctorate, I spent several years as a resident physician in anesthesiology. During this time, I earned my specialist qualification in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine (LDW, Bremen). Partly concurrently, I continued my dental studies in Hamburg until passing the state examination in 1991. This was followed by my specialist training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf.
Based on my personal conviction, I decided to pursue additional training in “Naturopathic Medicine” and spent 8 months observing in various practices throughout Germany to learn naturopathic treatments (homeopathy, phytotherapy, orthomolecular medicine, neural therapy, acupuncture, nutritional medicine) intensively and practically.
A tooth needs to be extracted because it is so badly damaged or the dental nerve is irreparably damaged. Immediate ceramic implants are available at our practice.
